Peony, This flower has a certain flare owing to the leaves. In this painting I accentuated the movement and line of the leaves to bring a rhythm and dynamic vibe to the piece. A flower with many petals also give lots more to consider when creating a painting. I'm delighted with how this flower turned out!!!
Daily Challenge: This daily art process involve trying out some new art supplies like gouache and mixed media. I've spent years using acrylic paint. In this daily challenge I experiment with a few different mixed mediums and methods. Playing keeps creativity alive and exciting!!!
COLLECTION DETAILS: These are all 5x7 multi-media paintings on paper, and come sealed in cello and with a mat and backer to fit an 8x10 frame.
PROCESS: Each of the artworks have a variety of materials used in the making... everything from pencil crayons, chalk, acrylic, watercolor and or gouache paint. I used whatever materials I felt suited the subject and artwork best.
