Frequently Asked Questions

***What's the quality of your art prints?
The art prints in my shop are super high quality (I'm not making these at home). You'll be proud to own these unique art prints and feel confident giving as a gift knowing that they are professionally printed in Canada using long-lasting archival inks on super high quality acid free 100% cotton paper from renowned paper maker Hahnemühle. These are non-glossy prints with a white border suitable for framing. In order to keep the price of my art prints reasonable these are open edition art prints meaning they are not numbered limited editions.

***What sizes do your art prints come in?
Currently my art prints are available as...
Paper - 6" x 8", Image - 5.5" x 7"
Paper - 8 1/2" x 11", Image - 7" x 9 1/8"
A few select prints also come as ...
Paper - 11" x 14", Image - 9 1/4" x 11 3/4"

***Do your art prints/paintings come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, all of my paintings and art prints come with certificates signed by me as the artist.

***What is the quality/size of your art greeting cards?
All the art greeting cards in my studio shop are professionally printed on premium McCoy, acid free, FSC certified card stock. They are all blank inside and measure 5"x7" and come with envelopes and wrapped in cellophane. (NOTE: cards are printed with ink that is not UV stable and will fade over time) If you would like artwork suitable for framing to display with longevity in mind, please choose an art print.  

 

***What medium are your paintings created with?
Most of my paintings are created using acrylic paint on stretched canvas (wood stretcher frame). Unless they are gallery wrapped canvases many of my stretched canvas paintings also include a black float mount frame (only if shown in listing) as well as free shipping to USA and Canada. 

***Do you accept painting commissions?
Yes, I'm happy to create a special painting just for you! Please head over to my custom art page to see more details on the process, as well as some examples.

***Do you help customers with the selection of frames for your artwork?
Sorry to say I don't help folks on an individual basis as I don't sell frames other than the ones that come with the original paintings. The frames that come with my paintings are black float mount wood frames. I find this style works with most home decor's and the artwork. If you'd like something more specifically suited to your decor I suggest consulting an art frame dealer local to you as that would give you the best selection at the most reasonable price.


Questions about shipping:

***When will my order arrive, what are your shipping options?
I mostly use Canada Post for all my shipping, occasionally for paintings or in the event of a postal disruption I will use a courier service (that service depends on the shipping destination) please pop over to see my shipping policies.

For any questions please feel free to CONTACT me. I'll do my best to get any issues resolved.

***What countries do you ship to and how much will it cost?
You can get an idea of the shipping cost to your location for items in your cart by using the shipping calculator on my shopping cart page.
Currently I ship to: Canada, United States, and a few EU countries
NOTE: Buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties and fees (artwork is duty free to Canada and USA). Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the shipping company that delivers the package. Do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

***What are your payment terms?
I currently accept payments using ShopifyPay, ApplePay, GooglePay and PayPal. With these payment methods you can use credit cards or your existing account balances. I require full payment before any artwork is shipped

***Do you offer installment payment plans?
I have been looking into a way to have that ability directly through my website (hopefully coming soon). Currently if you are purchasing an order over $200 (20% non-refundable deposit) and would like to set up a layaway payment plan option please feel free to CONTACT me and we can set something up. (Note: artwork will not be shipped until payment is complete)

***Do you accept returns?
Yes I have a return policy, hop over to my shipping polices page to see details of what can and can't be returned.

Questions about digital products:

***How will I get my digital purchase?
When you purchase any digital items from my shop (coloring pages, printables, digital wallpapers) there will be a download button on the checkout thank you page. You will also in short order receive an email with a link to download your purchase. For more info on digital delivery hop over to this page...

***How do I print off my digital printable purchase?
After you download the file for the printable art or coloring page you purchased, you'll need to print it off. Luckily I have a free resource guide on how to print printables so they look great.

***How do I use the digital wallpaper to me device?
Depending on the device type of wallpaper your purchased. Download it and save it to a place on your device (computer/phone/tablet) where you can easily find it. Go into the wallpaper settings for your particular device and choose the image you just saved. 
 
***Do you have any tips for coloring?
If you're new to coloring (or even if you've been doing it for a while) I've created a special FREE quick start coloring guide to help you get the most out of the time you spend coloring

***Can I email my digital download to my sister/friend so she can use it too?
I ask  that you please do not forward or share the digital art you purchase from me. I've spent many hours creating these unique artworks. If you know someone who is interested in them please respect my artistic efforts and copyright by sending them to my online shop, with many thanks : )

***Do you do interviews for print, blogs, podcasts, books or courses?
Yes, if you'd like to have me take part in your project, please feel free to contact me. I would love to hear about your it and If possible take part depending on my schedule. Please CONTACT me

***Can you give me art for my fundraiser?
Although I would love to support everyone's wonderful causes, as you can imagine I get lots of requests. It's simply not possible to give to everyone, so I limit it those causes closest to my heart.

***Where can I see your art in person?
I currently have artwork for display for purchase locally to me in Port Stanley at the Art & Soul Cafe in Port Stanley as well as the Muse Art Rental Gallery at the London Regional Art Gallery in London Ontario, where my art is available for purchase or for rent. You can check out more info on my art shows page.

***Where is your art studio located?
My art studio is located in the charming village of Port Stanley on the shores of Lake Erie, Ontario, Canada

***Can I visit your studio?
I'm sorry to say that my art studio is not open to the public and while I would like to visit with everyone it's just not possible given how many hours are in the day.
