'Little Beach Path' from the "Plein Air Collection' is a one-of-a-kind artwork.
This is the view I captured of 'little beach path' in a painting!!. I got there later in the afternoon so the sun had come around and cast a lovely tree shadow on the water. If I'd come earlier in the day it would've been a different story as the shadow would have fallen on the pathway, still nice, but not as nice as what I saw here. My fave part is the light that comes from around the tree and of course the shadow.
The Plein Air Collection - The idea for this collection came about as my hubby and I walked around the charming fishing village of Port Stanley, where we live. It left me feeling that as an artist I don't take advantage of these spectacular lake and creek views as much as I should. Capturing these views directly seemed like a wonderful way to share my impressions of these stunning scenes so that you could enjoy them too!
