Harbour Geese - Original Painting
'Harbour Geese' One thing about living in Port Stanley, there's no shortage of geese!! You can love 'em or you can hate 'em, I choose to love them... and the seagulls too lol. It's exciting to see a flock of them en mass in the sky getting ready to land, they flip around and honk and then splash down. These 2 geese are a mated pair that were nesting on the rocks that surround the one side of the outer harbour.
This image appealed to me with the various textures of angular rocks, mottled feathers, with a limited but vibrant palette of colours.
SIZE: 16" x 20" x 1.5" gallery-wrapped cotton canvas. The sides are painted to match the front so that it can be beautifully displayed unframed.
MEDIUM: Acrylic paint on canvas stretched over a gallery depth wood frame.
