DAY 4/30 'Hosta Blooms' These Hosta blooms are in a small area below our condo community sign out by the road. These flowers don't get a lot of loving, in fact I think most folks don't even notice them, so these blooms must have felt very seen having me stare at them for so long and capture their beauty for all to see lol.
Once I figured out what part of this view to actually capture, the rest went pretty easy. There was a lot to work with in the scene in regards to composition. The wonderful contrast in the variegated leaves and interesting bright white flower shapes, along with the dynamic graphic element of the yucca behind and some additional color from the wood planter box. I love how this painting turned out, I hope you enjoy it too!!!
