Queen Anne's Lace, Original Painting on Paper
DAY 27/30 'Queen Anne's Lace', I paired this Queens Anne's Lace with sumac for some extra color and autumn vibe. I set it against a stormy fall sky to add some interest. Before painting this I didn't realize just how interesting the finished blooms are. I looked inside o couple of them and there was an insect living in each one, like little apartments on a stick.
When I think of quintessential wildflowers, this is one I think of. Enjoy!!
