Day 15/31 - 'White Petunias', I've noticed that the white flower paintings don't look that much different from the original drawing, except for the patches of greenery. I'm really enjoying the sketched versions of these flowers, so I'm good with that.
White flowers are so lovely in a garden is they're a nice foil for all the other colors. Often if you have too many different colors in a garden they can clash a bit (much like if you have too many colors in a painting) but adding some bright fresh white can make the colors they're planted beside pop even more by contrast.
COLLECTION DETAILS: I love seeing flowers, so I'm creating an original flower artwork every day during the month of January!!
PROCESS: Each of the artworks will start as a pencil/ink drawing and then finish with watercolor.
