Watch and learn how to draw a geranium flower in this real time video! I'll show you the entire drawing process from start to finish, creating a detailed botanical drawing using pencil on paper. This illustration is easy to follow and great for anyone wanting to learn how to draw flowers!
This is a 5x7 drawing that takes about 30 minutes to complete in real time (ASMR no music or talking)! This drawing concentrates on the use of line and mark-making as well as how to use the negative space within the flower subject to create interest. I used a mechanical pencil for part of this drawing as switch to a regular HB as well as a bending stump and an eraser to pick out highlights.
The main purpose of this video is to show the drawing process for those interested in learning how to draw. Drawing with a pencil is actually very loud so I left the original sound in for those who enjoy ASMR videos. If you have any questions about my process or materials be sure to ask in the comments!
