I'm planning a few things for 2025!! One, is a daily drawing/painting for January!!
I created a couple painting a day projects back in 2023. Both featured flowers & botanicals, and this one will too. I found that creating and sharing the joy of flowers during the dull gray days of January feels very satisfying. It's that time of year when outdoor flowers in my neck of the woods just don't exist.
The flower inspiration is from my camera roll, using photos taken during more bountiful times of the year. For each artwork I think I'll start with a pencil/pen drawing, then add color using watercolor paint. This isn't how usually create, but it's the new year so this is one of the new things I'm trying.
