Blue dragonfly on a bright orange lily. I started this idea with a pencil sketch and then moved over to paint it on canvas. I love seeing dragonflies flitter about on a wam summer day and lightly landing for a moment on the water or in the garden on a flower. I'm trying to capture that feeling in this painting.
