How To Paint a Pink Coneflower with Acrylic, Painting Time-lapse

This is a time-lapse of a flower painting that I created during one of my 31-day painting challenges (I tasked myself with painting a flower every day for month)! Painting-a-day-2023
I'm excited to share this original purple coneflower painting with you! These flowers will take over a garden, but they also attract lots of birds, butterflies, bees and other lovely creatures. I've had these flowers in my garden before, they also make a lovely tea. I do love these blooms. The spikey seed globe of the center is a challenge to portray but very interesting!
This painting was created using acrylic paint on watercolor paper. I start with an orange base as it makes the colors I put on top brighter, plus and any gaps between strokes will show orange instead of white. (this is how I usually start all my acrylic paintings).
