'Harbor Posts & Grass' from the "Lakeside Portals Collection'. This painting is a view from the garden by the lift bridge here in Port. I love the posts and the big thick rope along with the lovely grasses of the garden bending to and froe in the wind.

Lakeside Portals - When creating this collection of artwork I was inspired by the energy, excitement, lines, and vibe that all these lakeside views embody. These paintings are only loosely beholden to my photo reference. My goal is to capture the impression these locals have on me, then to convey that using my sense of color and line to reimagine the underlying spirit of these places.
