DAY 1/30 'Yellow Squash Bloom' I'm so excited to share this original painting! that officially kicks off my 'Autumn Art Journal' collection!!
This spring my husband propagated some squash seeds and planted them in the garden. Mid-summer they exploding with these awesome yellow blooms that the bees just love (and I love them too!!).
I thought painting one of these big bright blossoms would be the perfect way to start this series. I had a delightful time sitting in my garden listening to classical music and painting this piece. I can't even begin to count how many times a be came and sat checked out the inside this flower. Enjoy this view from my garden to you!!!
