February and we're in the cold depths of winter. The groundhog provided some mixed hope but there's really nothing for it, winter is here for 6 weeks or more depending on who you believe and where you live. I don't have many winter artworks, but this is one of them. As you can see, in this art piece the snow has started to melt... yes I am foolishly hopeful lol.
This morning we were woken by the sound of snow clearing machines. When I am laying cozy and warm in my bed my heart goes out to the folks tasked with clearing the snow at really ungodly hours. Although I imagine being the first to forge a path and dig into newly fallen snow would have a purposeful peaceful beauty about it if you wanted to be positive about the whole thing.
I love the look of snow but I don't like being cold (she's so picky). That's where the beauty of winter art comes in... all the pretty with none of the hardship, just lots of fresh snowy colors to make your home look awesome.
