See how to paint this quick landscape painting of a harbour view hut start to finish! Showing the painting process using acrylic paint on art paper time lapse.
I'm excited to share the process for this little original painting, it was inspired by a view of a small hut on the harbour where I live. The finished painting was part of my 'Petit Paper' painting collection a couple years ago.
This artwork is a 5"x7" created using acrylic paint on watercolor paper. I start with an orange base as it makes the colors I put on top brighter, plus and any gaps between strokes will show orange instead of white. This is how I usually start all my acrylic paintings.
My colors for this painting are... Cadmium Red Medium, Cadmium Orange, Red Oxide, Light Green Permanent, Brilliant Yellow Green, Dioxazine Purple, Phthalocyanine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber, White and Black.
If you have any questions about my process or materials be sure to contact me!
Enjoy the journey as I create this painting, and I hope you learn something new about making art and how to paint a landscape!!!
