Windy Oceanside Hills Lavender, painting

lavender breeze flatlay

When I created this painting, the idea was to have lots of colors and also to give the viewer the feeling of standing in a breezy seascape. In this landscape, there are those things that can't move like the land, the cottages, and the fence posts. In contrast, are all the natural elements that do move as they dance at the whim of the wind, such as the clouds, the trees, the lavender, and the water.

I like the idea of opposites, dynamic vs static, light vs dark, white vs color, each side making the other stronger by giving a contrast to compare to. I think many things in life are like that. It's in the difference between things that the spice is created.

'Windy Oceanside Hills Lavender' is an original one of a kind artwork from the 'Summer Seaside Collection'. I'm so pleased to share that the whole collection of original paintings is now up and available!!
