Bright red poppies on my art studio table. I love having flowers in the foreground of a painting, you end up viewing the rest of the landscape as though peeping through a garden.
Flowers are like a gift to artists, as though mother nature said "here ya go" and all the birds, bees, and artists frolic in delight for all that they provide. Eye candy for all the bold colors, aroma bliss for their heavenly scent and pollen for all the lovely creatures.
