Deck sitting and chives

Sometimes I sit on our front deck to catch some quick sun while i drink a fruit smoothie, this is also where I have some pots of chives. The chives were a birthday present from my folks. They had them growing like weeds in their garden. They asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said if you could pot up some of those chives that would be the best. They are in bloom right now and ready to make my potatoes, soups and eggs tasty : )

(update 4 years and 3 houses later I still have those potted chives. They seem to be the once constant through many changes. They grow with little fuss from me and i love them for it!!)
