'Front Street Fall' from the "Fall in Port Collection'. This view is from front street here in Port. It's a narrow road on a cliff overlooking the lake. This was the last hurrah of color for the fall. Folks who have cottages on this street are conflicted because all summer the leaves on the trees block the lake view, and so it's only after fall that they actually get a lake view... and it's usually covered in ice.

I loved the shadows from the fence and the organized lines of the man-made structure against the messy interesting lines of nature. I repainted this piece a few times trying to get it right and I feel like it finally accomplished that, I hope you think so too, enjoy!!
