I created many of the paintings for this collection during the tail end of winter when my longing for the warmth and freedom of summer is at it's greatest. This year, my yearning to escape to the carefree times of the beach was even more acute given the COVID crisis... painting these bright colorful artworks was my escape.
Each of these paintings is meant to be like a relaxing mini-vacation from your worries, a daily touchstone, bringing the joy and happiness of a day by the sea to your heart and home.
With this bright colorful collection of original paintings, I'm indulging my love of the water and beach and enjoying the pleasure and freedom that comes with a summer's day to just sit, relax and escape.
