How To Paint a Yellow Lily In Acrylic, Painting Time-lapse Tutorial
Watch how to create a painting of a yellow daylily, from start to finish!
This is a time-lapse (double speed) of a flower painting that created during one of my 31-day painting challenges, where I set the task for myself to paint a flower every day for month! Painting-a-day-2023
I'm excited to share this yellow lily original painting! It was inspired by a photo I took while out in the garden on a sunny summer day. This artwork created using acrylic paint on watercolor paper. I start with an orange base as it makes the colors I put on top brighter, plus and any gaps between strokes will show orange instead of white. This is how I usually start all my acrylic paintings. If you have any questions about my process or materials be sure to contact me!
Enjoy the journey as I create this painting, and I hope you learn something new about making art and how to paint a flower!!!
Cheers, Cathy : )
