Artist at work! I was snapping some photos for a new painting, and my hubby was snapping photos of me (I didn't realize that til later lol).
A perfect sunny day full of shadows and contrast, perfect for getting some source photos to work from back in the studio. Since the advent of digital cameras I'm saving so much money from how I used to do it back in the day with film. I'm not a great photographer so there was always lot of wasted shots where I didn't get on film what I thought I was seeing, that's where artistic memory has to come into play.
I can't remember peoples names, phone numbers, dates of event etc. but I can remember how something looked and what shade of color it was. So glad I decided to be an artist, I'd be completely useless at anything else.
