So excited to share that I'm a part of this!! Save the date, the 'Elgin County Studio Tour' is coming!! I've had the pleasure of meeting all the artists involved as we work together to plan this event. I have to say, the talent, creativity, and skill of all the artists involved is just so amazing and a real joy to see!!!
The 'Elgin County Studio Tour' is a self-directed tour of artists’ studios. There's lots to see, with 23 artists and 21 studios in Elgin County for you to come visit. You'll have a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity to meet the artists in their workspaces. It takes place on the last weekend in September annually, and offers a chance for you to view and purchase artwork, see art demonstrations, and talk to the artists about their creative processes.
The mandate of the tour is to showcase local talent, and aims to raise awareness of the importance of art in the community and foster a deeper appreciation for the cultural and economic impact of the arts in Elgin County.
